Emerging Leaders Program details

The Emerging Leaders Program: Leveraging Regional Trade Architecture will strengthen the capacity of 24 emerging and mid-career leaders from ASEAN member states and Australia to shape ASEAN’s trade and economic future in a rapidly changing global landscape

Participants will build their policy literacy on emerging trade challenges. They will enhance their ability to support regional cooperation in an evolving and increasingly complex political and economic landscape, through information exchanges with key stakeholders and counterparts across the region and in Australia.

The program will be delivered over up to 12 weeks in the first half of 2026, through a blend of online learning and a one-week immersion program in Australia.

See here: Emerging Leaders Program | ASEAN–Australia Centre for more information on the Centre's Emerging Leaders Program.
